Ms. Bennett is the president of Jalynn H. Bennett Associates Ltd., a Toronto-based consulting firm that specializes in strategic planning and organization developments. She sits on the Board of a number of profit and non-profit organizations, including CIBC, Nortel Networks Limited and Teck Cominco Inc. She is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Hospital for Sick Children. Ms. Bennett is also a Member of the Order of Canada and a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
