CF Run

Cadillac Fairview is proud to announce that it will host the 6th annual CF Run in support of the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO), a non-profit, organization in Ontario, treating children with cancer.

Join us for a day of fun and fitness on Sunday, April 25th at Sunnybrook Park. The event includes a BBQ lunch, a Dry-fit t-shirt for all participants, face painting for the kids and plenty of fabulous prizes. In addition, at the conclusion of the run, there will be a winner’s presentation for 5 KM and 10 KM.

This year’s goal is to raise $130,000, surpassing last year’s total of $100,000.

Your support at the CF RUN will help POGO provide the following vital services and programs to children with Cancer and their families:

• Pediatric Oncology Financial Assistance Program to assist families with out-of-pocket costs.

• Successful Academic & Vocational Transition Initiative provides support to survivors, helping them reach their educational and vocational goals.

• POGO Research Unit conducts research to improve our understanding of childhood cancer and its long-term effects and to improve outcomes for the kids.

• POGO Interlink Community Cancer Nurses play an important role between hospital visits.

• Professional education to help multi-disciplinary childhood cancer professionals to stay up-to-date in this rapidly changing field.

Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday April 25th. We hope to see you all there. No matter how young or old or your athletic ability, your participation makes a difference!
