Cadillac Fairview ("CF") is committed to the protection of the environment and the health and safety of those affected by our operations -- our employees, customers, and tenants -- and to conducting our operations in compliance with all applicable environmental and health and safety laws and regulations. Compliance with this commitment is the responsibility of every Cadillac Fairview employee.
Senior management is responsible for developing and implementing an Environmental Management System consistent with this policy and International Standard ISO 14001 that will ensure, among other things, the training of employees to carry out their duties in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
An Environmental Committee comprised of a cross section of CF's officers and employees meets regularly to evaluate CF's environmental and health and safety policies and practices and recommend new initiatives to facilitate continuous improvements in environmental and health and safety performance.
The Environmental Committee monitors compliance with this policy and reports quarterly to our board of directors on the environmental actions, initiatives and issues affecting us and the operation of our Environmental Management System. The Environmental Committee also reports in a timely manner to our board of directors any substantial non-compliance or potential non-compliance situations or events.
